Home organization can be quite a cathartic exercise: putting everything away exactly where it belongs, each individual item in a designated spot that has optimal functionality, no clutter in sight.
What is a Home Organizer?
What is an End of Life Doula?
An End of Life Doula provides non- medical support to the dying and their families during the death process. They offer emotional, spiritual, and practical guidance, and can help with legacy projects. They additionally advocate for the dying person’s wishes and coordinate with their support network.
How do I work as both an End of Life Doula and Professional Home Organizer?
I can Make Space in your home to create systems that work for you. I can Make Space as a non medical support to those who are dying. In addition to both of those professional services I can help those aging plan a downsize move, those dying plan what to do with their physical possessions, and for those left behind after a death I can help plan the movement of possessions to their allocated spaces.
The Dandelion’s journey from a bright yellow flower to a white, feathery seed head is a powerful metaphor for the cycle of life, death, and rebirth.

My Background
As a first generation college graduate from UNC Chapel Hill with a BA in Education (focus in math and science) and Psychology, I have a unique perspective of the world. I have been a classroom teacher, case manager in mental health, developmental therapist, ESL teacher, tutor and business owner since 2000. What I know about people and space has been honed through experience, not only as a professional, but also as a mom of three boys and a widow.
As an organizer I do not create one system to fit all clients. I create a system with each client to help them maximize their space, energy and time. I specialize in working with neurodivergent folx and want to make sure each client feels safe and seen in the process. Organizing is not a one time creation, but an evolution over time, life experiences, and seasons.
As a death doula I offer a safe space to plan, create ritual and legacy projects. This includes for oneself, loved ones, and furry/non furry companions. I specialize in queer, non binary, trans, and poly support. Creating a space to help navigate misgendering in healthcare, planning inclusive memorials, and ensuring dignity and respect in the dying process.
